Martin leads the Portfolio Management team at HG Capital. He joined the private equity firm in 2001, having spent six years in leveraged finance at Royal Bank of Scotland.
In his role, he focuses on large cross-border transactions and is involved in the provision of both senior debt and mezzanine finance. From 2001 to 2008, Martin spent the majority of his time working in HgCapital’s Munich office, where he helped to build and lead the investment business there.

Lynnet provides strategic leadership for the company’s financial functions serving internal and external clients around the world.
Lynnet joined the Radius team after a distinguished career at ADP where she gained experience in growing an international software-enabled service business. During her tenure with ADP, she proved to be a dynamic, versatile leader with a track record of executing for results. She served as CFO of several multi-billion dollar divisions within ADP.
John’s career until 2011 was with Deloitte. He held a range of senior leadership positions in the UK and internationally, culminating his career as Global Chairman between 2007 and 2011. Prior to that John was Global Managing Director from 2003 to 2007. He was Senior Partner and CEO of the UK partnership from 1999 until his retirement from the firm in 2011. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Nick is a Partner at HgCapital, a member of the HgCapital Investment Committee and the Services team. He also sits on the board of Achilles.
Previously a Partner at Actis LLP, Nick has extensive private equity experience, with particular focus on the financial services industry, having commenced his investing career in 2000 at Apax Partners.
He has led investments in a number of different markets and across a broad range of sub-sectors including m-commerce, wealth management, payments, distribution platforms and data monetisation businesses.
Nick completed an MBA with Distinction at INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts (Honours) from the University of Melbourne in Australia.
Benedict Rocchio was a founding member of Baird Capital's Venture Capital team in 2000 and concentrates on investments in the technology and services sector. Benedict is a member on the board of directors at Appcast, FullContact, Housecall Pro, ParkWhiz, Radius, Signal, Snagajob, StartWire and Wordstream. He has also worked directly with over 20 other investments of Baird Capital, including ALI Systems, Axcelerant, edo Interactive, Fellon McCord, HireRight, PayChoice and Sittercity.
Heading up the Services team, Matthew joined HgCapital in 2009, having previously been a partner at Deloitte. After gaining his ACA qualification at Deloitte, he spent 14 years advising private equity firms transacting in Europe and Asia.
With a law degree, Matthew is a director on the boards of Radius, JLA and Parts Alliance. He was previously a director on the boards of SHL which was sold in July 2012 and ATC Group which was sold in June 2013.
A member of the Services team at HgCapital, Thorsten is part of the JLA board team, a member of Radius’ board and was involved in the sale of SHL.
Thorsten joined HgCapital in 2011 from Hellman & Friedman, where he worked on European investments. Prior to this he worked for Morgan Stanley and McKinsey.
